Equal Opportunities for Every Woman

I know from my own life how powerful equal opportunities can be. I once came to the Netherlands as a refugee. Today, I am working on my PhD research — something that would not have been possible for me in my country of origin, where poverty and social status would have limited my future.

My story is just one example of what can happen when women are given the chance to study, to work, and to pursue their dreams. Sadly, millions of women and girls around the world are still denied these opportunities simply because of where they were born or the family they come from.

With this campaign, I want to support UN Women in their mission: to make education, employment, and equal rights a reality for women everywhere. Every contribution helps create a world where no woman’s potential is wasted, and every girl can grow up knowing that her future is not defined by her circumstances, but by her talents and determination.
